Waste
What is Waste?
Waste includes practices that result in direct or indirect unnecessary costs to Federal healthcare programs. General waste is not criminal in nature; rather, by the misuse of resources.
Abuse
What is Abuse?
Abuse may be best described as practices, activities or other conduct that results - - whether directly or indirectly - - in unncessary costs to Federal healthcare programs
